What to see on the first day in Vienna

We are going to start the first of the two days in Vienna at the Stephansplatz Metro stop, in the heart of Vienna and where the main religious monument of the city is located, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, a must-see both for its exterior with its great tower of 137 meters and the Tiled Roof, as well as its impressive interior where the Pilgram Pulpit is.

From there we can walk to one of the most famous places in the city, the Vienna Opera, one of the most important in the world and where you can take a guided tour that will take you through its most incredible corners. The best things to see in Vienna in 2 days.

A few meters away is another of the best churches that we can visit in Vienna in two days. We are talking about the Church of San Carlos Borromeo with its columns inspired by Trajan’s Column in Rome and the Greek-style facade that will leave you speechless.

Retracing our steps we will arrive at the main avenue of Vienna, where some of the most incredible places in the city are concentrated. This is Ringstrasse, which we will walk along admiring each of its buildings.
