What to see in Paris in 3 days. Places you shouldn’t miss
Paris is one of the most visited cities in Europe thanks to its monuments, its cultural, commercial, gastronomic offer and its people. And that is why making an itinerary that unites all tastes is impossible.
For this reason, here we are going to present an itinerary to visit Paris in 3 days that covers the main places to see in the city and that you should not miss.
There is so much to see in Paris and if you are short on time there are as many tours to take as there are visitors.

What to see in Paris on the first day
What you can see in Paris on the first day will also depend on the time of arrival in the French capital.
That is why the ideal is to arrive as soon as possible to make the most of your time and go to the Eiffel Tower, the symbol of Paris and the most visited monument.
We recommend getting to the Eiffel Tower by getting off at the Trocadero Metro stop from where you will have great views of the monument and the Champ de Mars, one of the parks you can visit in Paris.
Even if there is a queue, do not leave Paris without going up the Eiffel Tower, especially to the third floor, and enjoy the best views of the city.
In addition, you can get an idea of everything you are going to see these days.
From there, you can return to the Metro and head to the Latin Quarter where you can enjoy some of the most special places in Paris such as the Pantheon, the Luxembourg Gardens or La Sorbonne.
What to do in Paris on the second day
Paris is a very big city with a lot to visit, so the best thing you can do on the second day is to get up early and make the most of every minute of the day to get to know the most important things in Paris.
The first thing we recommend is going to the Ile de la Cité where the city of Paris originated and where we have the most famous cathedral in the world, Notre Dame Cathedral.
Perhaps there is not a long queue to enter or to climb its towers.
After visiting this unforgettable place, you can tour the island visiting another of the essential places such as Sainte Chapelle, where its stained glass windows will captivate you.
It is not as pretty as the previous one, but next to it is La Conciergerie, which we also recommend visiting.
Our next destination is a bit far from this place, so it is convenient to go by Metro.
This is Les Invalides where, in addition to its museums, you must visit its church and see the Tomb of Napoleon. Next to Les Invalides is the Musée Rodin, which we highly recommend.
The next point of destination is the Champs Elysées and for this we will start our way through the Alexandre III Bridge to reach the Grand Palais and the Petit Palais, where there are interesting exhibitions that we recommend visiting if you have enough time.
If not, after admiring the buildings from the outside, you arrive at the Champs Elysées and begin to walk towards the Arc de Triomphe, first crossing the garden area of the street to finish in the most commercial part admiring the windows of the main designers.
Climbing the Arc de Triomphe is the next activity you will do in Paris and although the views are not as spectacular as from the Eiffel Tower, we really liked seeing the city from this point of view.
Our next destination requires retracing our steps to Place Concorde, so you can use the Metro or bus and save time.
Around the Place Concorde we find such special places in Paris as the Church of the Madeleine or the famous obelisk of Luxor that is located in the same square.
Or the Tuileries Gardens, which we recommend visiting quietly away from the noise of Parisian traffic before making your way to Place Vendôme and the Paris Opera.
If it is still early, you can choose to go to one of the main museums in Paris such as the Louvre Museum, the George Pompidou Center or the Orsay Museum.
In such a short time it is impossible to visit all 3, so choose one according to your tastes and in case it is the Louvre, you have to be aware that you cannot visit it in detail choosing what you want to see.
To end the day, it is best to go to Montmartre and enjoy the bohemian atmosphere of the neighborhood by visiting the beautiful Sacre Coeur Basilica, the Moulin Rouge or the Place du Tertre.
Surely you will be very tired but happy for this spectacular visit to Paris which still has one more day left.
What to visit in Paris on the third day
For the last day we have left the possibility of doing an excursion that will always depend on the time you have to return home.
We recommend two excursions, which have nothing to do with each other.
One of them is to take the RER and visit the Palace of Versailles and its gardens, an activity that will probably take you more than half a day but that you will enjoy intensely.
The other is to go to Disneyland Paris and choose one of its parks.
If it is the first time you are going, we recommend the Disneyland Park, but if you have already been or have more days, be sure to consider the option of visiting the other park in the complex, the Walt Disney Studios Park.
Paris in 3 days is enough for very little but here we have tried to make you visit the most important.
If you have more days, do not forget to visit the beautiful churches that we have not talked about here, such as Saint Sulpice or Saint Eustaque.
Or go up the Tour Montparnasse to have a different view of the city and the Eiffel Tower.
