The main parks to visit in Seville. our favorites

Seville is a city full of history, monuments, enviable gastronomy, flamenco or streets with a lot of atmosphere, but it is also a city where you can find many parks to relax and enjoy.
Surely the best-known park in Seville is Parque de María Luísa, for being the most central and for its neighboring Plaza de España, but you also have other parks that you should visit.
Here we make a list of the parks in Seville that we like the most and the ones you should go to.
The best parks to visit in Seville
Maria Luisa Park
We have said it before, the María Luisa Park is the best known and most visited in Seville. It was built for the Universal Exhibition of 1929 and next to it is the Plaza de España, one of the most famous places in Seville that you cannot miss.
In the Parque de María Luisa we can enjoy tranquility thanks to its walks, its trees, its birds and its beautiful fountains, in addition to finding several museums and the Plaza de América, with very interesting buildings.
Without a doubt, an essential place to visit in Seville. We also recommend you to do this guided tour of the Parque de María Luísa, very cheap and interesting.
The Alamillo Park
Located next to Isla Mágica, Seville’s theme park, Parque del Alamillo is one of the largest in the city.
It is located on the Isla de La Cartuja, it was inaugurated in 1993 and is the favorite for many families since it has various attractions for children that they can enjoy, such as an extensive playground, a lake full of birds, skating areas, picnic areas and many other areas.
There is also a stage for parties and activities, while in summer there is a cycle of very interesting activities.
Miraflores Park
Miraflores Park has no less than 94 hectares. In it it is possible to be completely isolated from the noise of the city due to its extension and in it we can find a natural lake surrounded by very special leisure areas in which to enjoy with the family.
But we not only find nature in this park but also the remains of a Roman villa and even an Almohad tower. Urban gardens are also part of its appeal.
Interesting are its plant species ranging from acacias to trees from Japan.
The Discovery Park
Not far from the Alamillo Park we find another of the most popular parks in Seville, with great beauty that is also highlighted by being located next to the Guadalquivir River.
The Park of the Discoveries is famous among Sevillians for its children’s leisure area where there is a spectacular pirate ship and various water games that cool off on summer afternoons.
The Pacifier Tree is another point of interest in the park, where the pacifiers of older children are found and left there as a symbol of their growth.
The Gardens of the Real Alcázar of Seville
The Real Alcázar is one of the main places to visit in Seville and is part of the World Heritage Site. And in addition to the spectacular buildings that form it, it has enviable gardens that are also essential.
We could say that they are the most beautiful gardens in Seville and that they are also located next to the Murillo Gardens and are almost an extension of the Prado de San Sebastián and the Parque de María Luisa.
Enjoying these gardens is something you won’t be able to forget for a long time.
